Here is a great idea if you are shopping for a nice birthday gift for someone, or perhaps because Valentine's Day is in February, you might be needing a gift for that occasion.
This is Purcy and his Mom just happens to be one of our wonderful pet sitters here at Everything & The Dog Purcy was adopted by his Mom through The Feline Foundation of Greater Washington, Inc. and so now he has a wonderful forever home.
So one day Purcy's Mom, who is named Chris, and her friend, Janalyn Hill (who is a representative for Thirty One Gifts) put their heads together to come up with a fund raising idea for FFGW.
If you can find your Mouse Person, you can ask him to fly you over to the FFGW web-site and learn all about The Thermal Tote Fundraiser that Chris and Janalyn put together.
Basically, here is how it works..... straight from the source at FFGW:
During the month of January, Thirty One Gifts has the totes on sale before tax and shipping for $10 for the original tote and $15 for the Cinch-it-Up style. But if you pay the regular price, Janalyn will donate the difference between the sale price and retail price to FFGW. Tax and s/h will also be rounded up to the nearest dollar and any overage will be donated to FFGW, too!
Here is what the totes look like, but you can pick from lots of different colors and patterns. The totes are thermally lined (non-mercury liner!) to keep food warm or cold and they have sturdy handles with front pockets for napkins, utensils, or notes (or kitty treats!).
So here are the steps that you can take to make this all happen, and The Feline Foundation of Greater Washington, Inc. will then get lots of money and be able to care for kitties even better than they do now.
