Happy Birthday, dear Mom!
HA. Today is my Mom's Birthday. And I have been working very hard to make sure she gets a lot of presents.
My sister, Lydia, went shopping and this morning she gave my Mom exactly what she really wanted, which was a new watch ---- a real watch, with a leather band and made by Brighton which is just my Mom's style AND a cute little bookmark. And then, since my sister is such a good shopper, she got a "free with purchase" which we know is really NOT free, but who cares at that point. So Mom got a wonderful two gifts and sister got a tote bag!

As you may suspect, it is very difficult for a PitBull (even one as Extra Ordinary as me) to go shopping, but I found my Mouse Person asleep in a bag full of tissue paper this morning, and so I told him what I wanted my Mom to have and HE FOUND IT
Check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFh-rX_Sfhs We found a birthday song for my MOM.
And it is perfect! I am now going to start training the squirrels in our front yard to do the same thing as Alvin and his friends and then I will be rich and famous and I will be able to buy my Mom a bazillion things off her Bucket LIst. Frankly, I have no idea what a Bucket List is, but I am sure that doing them or getting them requires cash, and I am almost certain that I can train squirrels to sing.
Or maybe Smudgie........ I see no reason why I can't make Smudge famous. After all I did send her picture to the Sorel Boot company and they sent us a nice fat discount certificate even though they said they couldn't use her in their ads, cause their ad agency didn't discover her. Oh well..... but see........ the opportunities are endless.

And if that stupid bulldog Tillman and his Sister, Rose, can snowboard and surf, I see no reason why I couldn't train Smudgie to do that. HA. Tillman and Rose have their own line of toys now and of course they are making Mr. Van Patten very rich. I wonder if he would be so famous if it wasn't for Tillman (and Rose). I'll have to ask him.
And speaking of pictures, which of course, we weren't really, but you know how my mind works and sometimes I get distracted from the original subject. Our friend Ellen Zangla who takes all our pictures, just sent Mom some new pictures of me....... so here goes with something no one has ever seen before. Unfortunately, you can also see that my slim figure isn't quite as slim as it once was, but then hey.... neither is my Mom's.

So all and all, thanks to my sister, Lydia, and my Mouse person, Mope, and my friend, Ms. Ellen, for making my Mom's Birthday dreams come true.
It's hard to be as old as my Mom, but she seems to be handling it fairly well ---- at least so far.
Love and Licks,
Bob
